The 7 Most Interesting Pies Eaten by the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Have you tried our pie? Our Greensboro & Durham locations offer fresh, made-to-order, Neapolitan style pizzas. While the classic pies are always popular – like pepperoni or margherita – our specialty pies have stolen the spotlight. But if you think our Pickle Pizza, Philly Cheesesteak or Chicken Caesar Pies are strange (yet oh-so delicious), then we’d like to refresh your memory with this list of some of the most interesting pies eaten by your favorite sewer dwelling, pizza-loving reptiles.

The 7 Most Interesting Pies Eaten by the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Sausage & Jelly Bean

In season 4, episode 18 (“Slash: The Evil Turtle from Dimension X”), we’re introduced to the Sausage & Jelly Bean Pizza. While sweet and salty can be a real palate pleaser, this particular combo won’t be making it onto our specials board any time soon.

Peanut Butter & Clams

Introduced in episode 39, “Green With Jealousy”, we find ourselves green over the thought of this combo.. but not with jealousy.

Pepperoni & Pickles

This one has the gears turning! Our Pickle Pizza is one of our best selling specialty pies, and the thought of adding pepperoni… well, we’ll be right back (*runs to kitchen to experiment*).

Toast & Tea

We’ve heard of dunking your toast in coffee, but a pizza topped with crumbly bread and dry tea leaves? Who came up with these, anyway..

Popcorn

Who doesn’t love popcorn? And who doesn’t love pizza? We challenge you to order up a plain cheese pizza and top it with our always fresh, always free popcorn. Tweet us @boxcarbararcade to let us know what you think!

Butterscotch, Onions & Anchovies

Butterscotch as a base? We can dig it. But let’s replace onions and anchovies with chocolate chips and marshamallows.

Oatmeal

We’re all about breakfast pizza. In fact, we serve up a brunch pie every Saturday & Sunday afternoon at our Durham & Greensboro locations. But unlike this cringe-worthy creation, ours includes more appropriate toppings, like eggs and bacon.

Well, there you have it! If we haven’t completely ruined your appetite, why not make tonight a Pizza Night? We’re serving ‘em up every day of the week at our downtown Durham location and at the Outdoor Pizza Kitchen at our downtown Greensboro arcade bar. Bon Appétit!
