As passionate as we are about games – we’re equally passionate about beer. With NC being home to the largest number of craft breweries in the American South, our focus is not only on creating a fun and welcoming environment, but to serve everyone from the occasional beer drinker to the all-out beer enthusiast with the best craft beer experience in town!
In addition to a full bar, Boxcar Bar + Arcade in Raleigh offers 24 American craft beers on draft – including numerous local favorites – and a rotating list of canned and bottled brews. We strive to serve a variety of craft drafts in each category (from stouts to IPAs, sours to ciders) and to rotate through these selections to keep you and your palate satisfied.
On a budget? Join us each and every Monday for our weekly “Kick the Keg” special, where you can enjoy select beers for $3 – helping to clear a few taps for rotation. Tuesday is “Pint Night”, where you can score any of our 24 pints for just $3. For the best chance at catching something extra special on tap, stop in on Wednesdays for “Tap Night”, when we tap a few rare, new or in-demand selections. Wednesdays are also a good chance to support your favorite NC breweries at a discount, as we offer $1 off all NC pints.
With our quest to become the best craft beer bar in Raleigh, we were stoked to have been recently voted as “Indy Week’s ‘Best Place to Get Strange Beer for Cheap” in 2016! In an effort to keep things simple and provide our customers with a no-fuss, low-cost beer selection, we serve all drafts in pint glasses with prices averaging at about $5 per pint. Looking to try something new? Our bartenders would be happy to pour you a couple free tastes, and we offer 10oz pours for a reduced price.
